Send us photos of what you found. We'll tell you what it is, what we think it will bring at auction, and exactly what you'd keep — before you commit to anything. Most people hear back within two business days.
How consigning with us works
We do the selling work
Studio photography, identification, measurements, the written lot, and the whole buyer side — payment, packing, and shipping. You put it in a box and send it to us.
Your name on the provenance
Every lot we sell records who found it, where, and when. Collectors pay for a documented history, and you get the credit for the find. Prefer to stay anonymous? Just say so.
You keep 80%
Our commission is 20% of the hammer price — published, flat, and no listing fees, photography fees, or surprises. We tell you the estimate and the split before anything is listed.
Paid within 5 business days
As soon as the buyer's payment clears, your payout goes out by check, Zelle, or PayPal — whichever you prefer. You'll get the full breakdown in writing.

A note on collecting legally
We can only sell specimens that were legally collected. In South Carolina that generally means a hobby licence for material from state submerged bottomlands, or documented permission from the landowner. If you're not sure where your find stands, send it anyway and ask — we'd much rather talk it through than have you guess. Our field guides cover the rules in more detail.
